About Record Scores
RecordScores started as a family idea — a simple way for kids to follow their dad’s match results.
The beginning
How It All Began
Every great platform starts with a simple question. For RecordScores.com, that spark came from our children, Dev and Bhoomika.
They wanted an easy way to follow their dad’s match results and keep track of his scores across his various badminton and pickleball club games. What started as a simple request from kids wanting to cheer on their dad quickly revealed a much bigger need. We realized that if our family wanted a way to track these daily victories and friendly matches, countless other amateur athletes and their families would want exactly the same thing.
Inspired by Dev and Bhoomika’s original vision, parents Avinash and Swati Jain set to work. Together, they designed and implemented RecordScores.com—turning a fun family idea into a dedicated app where everyday sports players can easily record, track, and celebrate their game scores.
Why we built it
Our Founding Story
RecordScores.com was born from a genuine passion for amateur sports and family connection. The initial concept was envisioned by Dev and Bhoomika Jain, who wanted a centralized way to view their father’s game scores across multiple sports and clubs.
Recognizing that millions of amateur sports enthusiasts lack a dedicated tool to log their own match histories, parents Avinash and Swati Jain took their children's foundational idea and turned it into reality. They developed and launched RecordScores.com to empower everyday athletes to easily record their scores, track their progress, and share their love of the game.
